In the dub we hear he yell "SERENA!!!!" many times, and then proceed to run after poor Usagi with a broom. They may seem to fight allot, but they are very good friends.
Rei lives at a Shinto Shrine with her grandfather. He is described as a "dirty old man" in the Japanese Anime. Also living at the temple is Yuuichirou (Chad), a rock star who went to live there for rest. He has an obvious crush on Rei, who pretends not to notice, but she has the same feelings for him. In one S episode focused on Yuuichirou they end up talking it over with each other.
Rei has they ability to read fire, has premonitions and feels when evil forces are near ("I feel a strange force here!"). These ability's aid the senshi with their fight against the evil forces.
